Five-batch Analysis and Substance Characterization
Five-batch Analysis and Substance Characterization
Mérieux NutriSciences can provide support in the development and validation of methods suitable for the quantitative determination and identification of active ingredients and toxicologically relevant or other impurities, in both agrochemicals and biocides.
Five-batch analysis
Five-batch analysis is one of the key studies to be submitted for the registration of agrochemicals and biocidal active substances. Its purpose is to identify and quantify active ingredients and impurities in five representative batches of the product.
Mérieux NutriSciences offers proven expertise in five-batch analysis, with experience of over 100 different active ingredients. Our experts continuously update their knowledge base and refine their analytical capabilities to meet evolving regulatory requirements. We perform a high volume of five-batch studies every year in our specialized labs.
Preliminary screening analysis
Screening analysis can be performed at Mérieux NutriSciences’ Shanghai facility, providing an assessment of impurities in an active substance or technical product prior to starting a five-batch study.
Our screening analyses provide accurate information about the chemical composition of technical products.
Furthermore, we develop and validate methods for the following types of determination:
- Assays
- Optical isomers
- Impurities
- Degradation products (including forced degradation studies)
