To confirm the efficacy of a cosmetic product, Mérieux NutriSciences resorts to a multi-instrumental and integrated approach that exploits the potential of multiple techniques to provide a sound evidential support both for already existing claims and for the new ones.
IN VITRO EFFICACY TESTS
In vitro test and methods: an approach that allows the simultaneous testing of more formulations and the preliminary evaluation of the efficacy before or in combination with in vivo studies (pre-clinical test methods).
IN VIVO EFFICACY TESTS
In vivo instrumental evaluations (image analyzer and bio-engineering technologies): visual evidence with actual and quantifiable data. All clinical tests are carried out by skilled and qualified specialists, with many years of experience: tests are performed according to international standards and abiding by ethical principles listed in the Declaration of Helsinki.
